Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Shower only works at night

    So the water went a few weeks ago, and since it came back the shower has been acting up. All of the taps and the toilet upstairs work fine, and the shower (Electric Mira Play) seems to run okay with good flow. The problem is that the water is freezing cold unless it's ran at night, around 11, where the shower can be turned up to a very high temperature and will give out hot water. I've checked the filter in the shower and cleaned it, but no luck. I'd think it was burnt out but it seems to be working during the night. It's been a month now and showering late at night is driving me mad, does anyone have any idea as to what could be causing it to not work during the day?

    Your water pressure isn't good enough during the day to activate the pressure switch. Mains fed showers are a disaster for most of Ireland.
    There is a leak on the main water pipe somewhere. Ring Irish water on Monday. Doesn't matter if you haven't paid water charges. They will repair the leak if it's out on the road
