Some effort from Hull, although Valencia was back to his old self missing almost everyone with a clear effort to get the ball in the box so went back to his old hit hard and hope.

Credit to Rooney for his perseverance at the end considering a lot wasn't coming off for him today.

Love Rashford, he seems to have such a great attitude for a young player.

Deserved win. That was a barrage for the last 10 minutes.

Hull are going to be tough to crack this season if that defending keeps up. Phelan knows how to organise a team. Nobody would've begrudged them a point today.

I thought Rashford looked great when he came on. Hull defended very well, particularly Davies who deservedly got MOTM.

Hope Phelan gets the Hull job and Jose sends him a few players on loan.
