Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Credit where credit is due
As much as he's been wrecking my head recently he done the job and won the game for utd
    Fair play to him

Cruel on Hull but such is life.

Rashers needs to be in the team.

Miki needs to be in the team.

That's the kind of grit we were missing last year.

I'd love Hull to stay up with Mike Phelan as their manager.

What a win! Rashford is a little bit of magic. Mkhitaryan is exciting as hell. Pogba can be forgiven for a few long shots in those conditions.

    Come on United!

Rooney is getting the assists in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,159 ✭✭✭mrkiscool2

Fair result, but Hull have some heart. Hope Phelan gets the job and they stay up and, if they play like that, can't see why they won't.

  • Also utd have shown strength in the team
To bring on Rashford and miki who turned the game and gave Utd the edge
That's a typical game we would have drawn or lost last year
    Yesss get the **** in

There is nothing to compare this season to last, different players, different manager different mindset and so far different results. Should be comfortable today (hopefully!)

Some effort from Hull, although Valencia was back to his old self missing almost everyone with a clear effort to get the ball in the box so went back to his old hit hard and hope.

Interesting to see who starts against City now, didn't think Rooney was that bad.

Thank f*ck for that, thought it wasn't going to happen. Absolute sickener for Hull and their fans... and their other fans :pac:

So frustrating watching that clown get so much ball and waste it all .
Is it really that difficult to look up and try and pick out a man instead of
    a) hitting the first man or
    b) driving it as hard as possible across the box

Credit to Rooney for his perseverance at the end considering a lot wasn't coming off for him today.

Love Rashford, he seems to have such a great attitude for a young player.

Deserved win. That was a barrage for the last 10 minutes.

Hull are going to be tough to crack this season if that defending keeps up. Phelan knows how to organise a team. Nobody would've begrudged them a point today.

    1-0 CantonaRashford :)

you gotta grind out the ugly wins and pop in the odd injury time winner if you want to be champions. Ferguson football was effective but often far from pretty, we forget.

    Scrap the cap!

Still better than getting the ball 25 yards from their goal and passing it back to Blind every time.It made a change seeing us actually try to score a goal right to the end.

I thought Rashford looked great when he came on. Hull defended very well, particularly Davies who deservedly got MOTM.

Hope Phelan gets the Hull job and Jose sends him a few players on loan.
