Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all
Bit of an issue with my 307 1.6hdi
Turbo failed due to split in oil supply pipe. Turbo shaft split between impeller and compressor. replaced pipe and new turbo cartridge. turbo would then only start to boost at approx 3k rpm as opposed to 1500-1800. Checked inter cooler and its clear. replaced egr actuator and then blanked off egr with blank plate with 5mm hole in it due to egr obd errors. waste gate does not seem to be working.
there is vacuum in the pipe to waste gate. no difference in performance with it on or off.
    Anyone have any ideas ?

    thanks

There is no wastegate on those turbos. That is the actuator to control the angle of the variable geometry vanes inside the turbo.

Can you easily move the actuator arm manually ?
