Anyone know of a good place online (or dub if an actual shop) to pick up a rear derailleur hanger for a 2014 specialised allez? I'm having a bit of trouble sourcing one on short notice.

Derailleurhanger.com. Buy from them, or if you find the number of the one you need you might find chainreaction or the likes stock it (cheaper and faster shipping). Or bring the hanger into Bee Cycles, he has millions of them, should be able to find the right one, but not guaranteed.

If really stuck, get a hacksaw and make the hanger fit the frame. Had to do this myself today in order to get a Lappiere frame accept a near-perfect hanger. Needed 2mm shaved off the drop out for happiness to ensue.
The measurements and spec can be very similar in lots of hangers. A mm here or there can cause a lot of angst

A temporary solution if needed is a 'universal' hanger which is held in place by the wheel's skewer.

One question - Chainreactioncycles proposed this hanger:

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/north-shore-billet-derailleur-hanger-specialized-allez/rp-prod64240?utm_source=customerops&utm_medium=techsupport&utm_campaign=CRC010

Looks like it is made from higher strength aluminium. I'm slightly wary of getting this one as my undestanding is that the hanger should act as a failure point to save the frame. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
