Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car air conditioning problem

    AirCon not cooling the cabin in 2L Diesel opel. The compressor is running, Fans are running, there is gas in the system (when I press the tit at the connection-points gas spurts out at a good pressure).... any suggestions as to what might be wrong....

    There's probably not enough gas in the system.

    How old is the car and was the AC ever serviced?

    FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

    You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

    Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

    2011. Had it gassed up. Was cooling for about an hour and then it lost the cooling ability. The iceman says there is a leak in the system but i don't understand why ALL the gas doesn't leak out. There is still good pressure at the fill point but no cooling.
