Recover files post a Garmin 810 freeze?

    I've had a few Garmin restarts recently particularly on long spins. I have however been able to recover the stats from the FIT files stored on the device thanks to the follow site http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/.

    All good so far!

    I then got a screen freeze on the weekend and no FIT file on the device but a BAK file .....

    Anyone any idea if this is useful to recover the stats? Any other suggestions?
