    Apple Watch 2 is 349 and the 42mm is 379. That's great.

But the GPS version is 449. Not great.

matt black. The gloss will show every smudge going

I don't know. May can show finger prints just as easily but is much harder to wipe off.

I think jet black is going to be the colour du jour

    Probably.

I'd like to know how scratch resistant and slippery or not it will be.

€20 price increase across the iPhone 7 line but for double the storage. Seems like a good deal. €50 increase on the Plus models.

Typical, iPhone actually increased in price by 20. I was hoping for a drop to 750, not a jump.

Not in my opinion. Double storage every few generations use to come for free. It doesn't really cost anything to Apple so it really is a marketing decision.

The increase is most likely due to euro exchange rate though.

No change on the prices of the 6 or SE . That is really poor.

    6 isn't available any more.

The poor man's gold (or maybe the stupid man, I guess it depends on perspective).

By the way is gold gone? (not that I am planning to buy one - just wondering)

Ye appears the Ceramic is the new 'Edition' and we're getting robbed for the AirPods too $159 is €179 apparently

This is complete BS. The 6S remains the same price as last year (which was already ridiculous), and they've created a new super ridiculous category. The base model of which is €919, absolutely mental. It was only a few years ago €500 would get you the flagship phone, nowadays it's midrange...

    edit: talking about the plus

Can I buy a euro version of this in New York? the 7 plus 128gb works out at €772 using the revolut card

How much for their wireless headphones.

Not that I'll be getting them.

That is 772 minus sales tax. Think the NY sales tax is 9% so you'd have to add that on.

You can buy the sim-free version but you won't get any support from Apple here if it breaks when you return (you'll have to post it back to the states).

Oh didn't know that, not worth the risk then, cheers OP

Thinking 7 plus Jet Black 128Gb

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,158 ✭✭✭shanec1928

Currently have a 64Gb 6 plus so not sure if the 32Gb 7plus would be cutting it tight with current usage of 20GB

Pretty sure they'll support the phone from anywhere.

Aren't they the prices for series 1? Series 2 starts at €449.

Contractually they definitely don't have to, and in practice they are unlikely to provide remote assistance or an exchange service. They will most likely fix it if you bring it to an Apple Store though (though as I said they don't have to and could refuse for some reason).

Maybe I'm confusing the naming scheme, but I thought the updated models were also called series 2, maybe it's just the GPS equipped version though.
