    Looking for the following:

    40"-44" max
    1080p (no higher)
Non smart ideally, but will take Smart if no choice
    Cracking panel image quality wise
Low ms response times for gaming

Basically a low frills, but high quality 1080p set

Any ideas on what to look for on richersounds?

    Hi myrddin,

The only high quality non smart TV we would do would be the Samsung UE40K5100. This is a very good panel with just a 1080p panel and a Freeview HD tuner. It retails for £329. However if you're looking a very good quality panel you're probably going to end up with a smart TV.

I would recommend the Sony KDL43WD751 at £449. This is a great quality panel with double the refresh speed of the Samsung meaning a smoother picture as well as a panel which has a much more natural colour spectrum.

Let me know what you think.

    Kind Regards

    David
