Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dalby is tough as nails and is known for a comeback but Sobotta is absolutely all over him and stifling everything he has.

30-26 Sobotta. Very very solid performance.

    Dalbys probably gonna get cut.

Great fight, yeah i agree about hardy hes class. Would love him and cruz to take it full time.

    Disagree with that decision.

30-27 is an outrageous score. Never a clear cut clean sweep.

Agreed. The judging lately has been out of this world.

how the hell did one judge give him round 3!

Ilir Latifi could find himself on the cusp of greatness if he wins tonight. He's been on a great run and is somewhat under the radar.

It wouldnt surprise me in the slightest of he blasted Bader into the next, hopefully he does or itll be a hump fest for three rounds.

I think he'll spark him Anthony Johnson style.

BT showing the walkout's instead of ads is most refreshing.

Think he means that the main card isn't on Fight Pass.

That makes sense. I was moaning about the opposite earlier, I'm sure I saw that the prelims advertised as on BT during the week. Anyway, didn't miss much based on this thread

This is going to be one of those fights isn't it?

30-27 Hein... I guess. I gave up scoring that fight midway through the last round. Pathetic card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

One judge gave one round as a draw... 30-28... T'fúck?

Mousasi is always that guy you'd never think was a fighter seeing him in the crowd like that. :pac:

That would have killed an average man. Or at least me.

Jaypers. Some knee there. Glad the other fella looks half ok anyway.

He got up fairly quickly after it. Some man.

    Most Wins, UFC Modern LHW
    Jon Jones, 16
    RYAN BADER, 14
    Rasad Evans, 13
    Chuck Liddell, 13

I hate Ryan Bader but that's impressive

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

I'm so intrigued to see how Gustafsson gets on. It's been nearly a year since his last fight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 151 ✭✭FollowMyWay

Only caught the replay, but looked like he timed the knee prefectly.

If he fights like he did there more often fair play

Don't see much in Blachowicz's game that could trouble Gus too badly. Expecting a TKO in the last two rounds or a comfortable decision win for Gustafsson.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Was that song there from the Witcher 3 or was that just me?

  • Registered Users Posts: 151 ✭✭FollowMyWay

Big step up in competition for Jan, can see a decision in this one, possibly a split for Gus.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Right off the bat, I don't like how Gus is standing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Jan better in the standup there and Gustafsson in the grappling. It's the exact opposite of what I expected.

  • Registered Users Posts: 151 ✭✭FollowMyWay

Gus not moving much as he usually does, seemed happy to trade punches, takedown control and shots wins him the round.

Gus is relentless here on the ground, id say hes going to finish it in R3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Much better round from Gus. Lovely timing on that takedown. Expect Jan to come out blasting.

    Shocking stand up by Goddard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

30-27 Gustafsson. Tough scrappy fight but those rounds will do him well after an 11 month absence from the Octagon.

It didn't really matter because he got him back down but Gus was actively trying to pass the guard.
