what i found very odd is that the russians sat on this for over a year before asking the community to follow up. what possible reason would they have for this? have they spent a year trying to find it again? wanting the glory of confirming it themselves?

the signal is at a pretty unusual frequency too of 11 Ghz.

Unfortunately looking like it was from a terrestrial origin, and yes I agree it was very strange the russians keeping it quiet for over a year...Very fishy:(
