Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I often see Man Men mentioned but i can't imagine how a show about an advertising agency could be that good.

Well it's the characters in Mad Men that are excellent, plus the ads are used as comments on society, some of the best social commentary lines are in the presentation scenes.

Finished State of Play, only 6 episodes and well worth a watch. John Simms, Bill Nighy, a young James McAvoy, David Morissey, Alice McDonald.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Watching West World at the moment, was putting it off for ages but finally sat down and started watching it last week, instantly hooked, it's brilliant with a few good twists. Anthony Hopkins is very good in it.

A few episodes into the fourth, and last season of Rectify.

It's one of the great shows and sadly flew very under the radar.

    I'd recommended it to anyone.

The script in Pine Barrens is probably the best one for comedy! There's many others but I don't wanna dump spoilers in here...

It's a truly brilliant show, but I reckon many would struggle with the slow burn of how the story's unfolded.

So a while ago I said I was planning on starting Deadwood. Well now i'm just starting season 3 of the show. Great show, and great acting too from Ian McShane and Powers Boothe. A shame they ended it at Season 3, but I've heard talk that HBO and the Creator of the show, David Milch, are trying to get it back on.
