Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey folks,
Looking to purchasing a used scirocco preferably between 1-2 years old in the next coming months, Just wanted to ask if anyone has had any previous success on getting a fair discount when buying from the main Volkswagen dealers or am I going to be working with the bare minimum. For instance a 20k 141 Scirocco for sale and offering around 17k.
Been trying to search on this section but haven't found any luck.
    Thanks :)

Above is the cheapest one, mileage is above average for the year but not crazy high, the price is about 3k below the next cheapest with small mileage so there might not be much more discount in it. No harm in trying though, all they can do is say no.

Thanks, just wanted to have a fair idea on the leeway if any of discounts between the dealers as I heard Volkswagen dealers from people on this can be stingy but as you said all they can do is say no :)

Every dealer is different and cheapest isn't necessarily best. Think of aftersales too and who'll be better to deal with if things go wrong...

Consider pricing a new one too - that model is a getting a bit long in tooth and you might find that you can get a good discount and likely get 0% on a brand new one with a lot of extras thrown in
