Japanese knotweed

Never heard of this until recently as there is a problem in our area with it and im unsure whether i have it in my garden or not. I'd really appreciate having a look at the photos attached and letting me know if i have a problem. Many thanks.

First one is a doc leaf.
Second one, I dont know what it is, but its not knot weed. I see it all over the place, just pull it up. It self seeds like mad.

Thanks for that. I always wondered what it was called. It's a total pain to have in the garden.
