Greens near Terryland

Hi all! Just moved to Galway for college and am very unfamiliar with the place. Are there any large green areas in or around the Terryland area that would be suitable for running? Have issues with my knees so can only run on grass. Any help is appreciated :)

There is a soccer pitch beside Tesco's and a gaa pitch near the cinema. Or if you walk across the bridge you can run up as far as dangan.

There are GAA pitches up behind Ballinfoile/Crestwood and another former pitch area in Sandyvale.
