Replacing contacts after window installation

Some advise please from those more knowledgeable than myself. In the next few weeks the windows\external doors in my house will be replaced and the contacts need to be detached\reattached. Is this something that requires an alarm engineer to do and if so, any idea of cost?

The best advice here would be to contact your existing supplier and get a cost from them. Money can be saved in these situations if the existing devices as fitted to your existing windows and doors can be recycled and refitted to your new ones.
