Alcest are back with a new single and a new album out September 30th. And judging by the new single they're going back to the heavier Écailles de Lune type sound. September is shaping up to be a good month for music!

Looking forward to hearing this, I was addicted to Écailles de Lune when I first discovered it, great album. Enjoyed Les Voyages de l'Âme too, but not to the same extent. Good to hear that they could be going back to a heavier sound. I haven't listened to either yet, but here's a second track off the album:

Les Voyages de l'Âme just seemed like a watered-down version of Écailles de Lune, could never really get into it. Their first two albums are magnificent though.
