Looks like there could be a good deal of rain along the Atlantic coastal counties on Monday and windy too. A long trailing Cold Front near the coast for much of the day and slow to move across the country.

... could even be an October 20c in my parts courtesy of Mr Fohn but of course depending on long sunny spells. A day for lenticulars on Monday I would think? :)

Yea a steady SE'ly with plenty of humidity in it in the Lee of the Wicklow mountains might nudge the temp up a bit then what is predicted on the chart, will be looking out for the shots of the Lenticulars parked over Dublin on Monday :)

Welcome to summer in the west.

Nicest day of the autumn so far today here with blue skies, bright sunshine, good visibility and towering cumulus clouds.

Glorious morning in north meath, clear sky, slight frost, bit of fog down the field, and the sun about to peek up over it

I'll take plenty more mornings like this please, over the coming months

If that front Monday night can continue to be pushed out off the west coast the place may get a chance to dry out this week

A steady S'ly breeze has been building all day now avg 27 km/h. Good spells of sunshine and not a bad temperature getting up to 16.1C ( low last night of 5.4C ). Been great weather the last two days here in the SW and as Km79 was talking about above a chance that the heaviest of the rain may stay just off the coast on Monday until later in the evening, will probably be cloudy and drizzly though.

Great being outdoors under blue skies this weekend.

Not sure about horrendous, but it does look miserable with many many hours of pointless light rain away from the coast. About as filthy as it gets. I'd rather the heavier stuff as at least that would be of some interest.

Heavy rain the last half hour here in Tralee after a damp morning from drizzle and sporadic light rain. Mild.
