Stage 13s started breakaway up the road with a 9 minute lead over the peleton. The longest stage of the race today with 4 Cat 3 climbs along the way.

Just thinking pity Sam Bennett is not at this Veualta instead of the Tour....would have a GT stage by now ...and although more climbing the stages are shorter than the Tour so easier to sit in and wait for the sprinter type stages and he is good if there is a drag

When I tuned in and saw that I tuned out. The break had 20mins very early on. The peleton were happy for an easy day ahead of tomorrow/sunday
