Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bus or Taxi

Friday night, in for well earned beer. You've had a few and the bus is 20 quid cheaper but the taxi is just so much handier.

You know it's a waste, almost decadent really if you dig in to the thing.

Do the bus slog or knowingly get ripped for convenience?

    Taxi if I'm drunk.
I'd miss my bus stop knowing my luck.
Unless a taxi is going to cost more than 15 euro, then the bus

If you have earned your beers you have earned a civilised way of getting home

Always drink within staggering distance of where you're going to sleep

Bus if someone's going to get it with me and I'm somewhat conscious
If I'm too drunk then write my address on my arm and toss me into a taxi

    Taxi, just because it's handier.

Uber lux. One does not take a mere taxi.

As for buses by the time I've finished my last drink those loser cruisers are well locked up....

:D when I go out in Dublin I have to get a train home, and I usually try last long enough on the beer to be able to get the first train home next morning.
