hi,

Any ideas what this could be not sure if its a dead battery because any other car i had they lights will at least come on and haven't had a chance to give it a jump yet, i changed the battery in the key that did nothing.

Its the car's battery - exact same for me a couple of months ago.

Replaced the battery and all was sorted.
