Nintendo DSI/WII points.

    It seems that I can't use these to purchase 3DSI games.I'd that correct.Any ways around it??

    The points are for the Wii and DSi stores alone, and they are accessible through the respective devices.
    Both stores list items with points in terms of prices.
    On the WiiU and 3DS eshop the items are in the local currency instead.

    If you have a WiiU, you should be able to use the Wii mode to open the shop there.

    But it's a DSi only if you want games with the points, the 3DS eshop has no legacy mode.

    you can use them on the Wii shop, which you can access from the Wii U by first launching the vWii mode. Since you're on the Wii shop, you're buying software for the Wii, not the Wii U

    So technically you're not using them on the Wii U

    It's worth noting though, you can buy Virtual Console games for the Wii, and then you'll get a significant discount on the same title on the Wii U. So you could use the points to offset some cost. Or just play them in the Wii mode :D

    The 3ds ones of these are classed as gift cards in Tesco so unfortunately not part of the current half price offer.
