why not play 7 a side if your paying for the pitch that size, if it changes back to 6 so be it

Shame to have a lot of lads who want to play left with no game. 7 a side could've been done as there was plenty of space the last day when we were playing. But I get what Josh is saying about moving to a six a side pitch in future.

Maybe his idea to have a twice a week game will get off ground sooner rather than later

from a practical perspective, I only have 6 bibs of each colour also.

I appreciate that lads want to get a game but it's just easier in the long run to keep this Six a Side and be consistent in what we're trying to do.

Also, I wouldn't have moved the goals personally! We just have to be less unfit! :pac:

7 gets 2 more guys in. What about the other 3 stand bys, as we have now. Where do you stop adding numbers?

Stick with 6, as was the plan all along. No-one is going to be there every single week and spaces will open up. I was quick this week, it will be someone else next week.

Also, you will frequently get players withdrawing in the days before, or even on the day of the match, so having about 14/15 people chasing 12 places is ideal.

Basically... I want to get a permanent home fot the Six-a-Side, with a solid block booking, before I start a second night. Ideally Tues & Thurs.

some of these astro places just don't care, one of our work bookings had spent guts of 25k on bookings in Irishtown, and then they chase us for cancelling an hour late.

I was in the same position this week as I have shin splints from last week so I'm still carrying a bit of pain coming into today's match but I'm gonna risk it! Unlucky anyway man, hope you feel better soon.

Hopefully one of the lads waiting in the wings are still available for a game anyway
