    Exact same story as last week (probably due to the teams almost being identical) where one team runs away with it, best to 5 then starts and they (we) get destroyed :D

    Well when it's getting on and with about 20 minutes or so left, we say first to 5 wins and start back at nil all. One team last night was up 13-3 or something like that, reset the scores and then the tables turned and the other team ended up winning 4 nil :D

    We cap the score at +5 so the other team has an opportunity to make a comeback for the duration of the game. Might experiment with breaking the game into two halves if one side is running away with it like ye do.

    We're lucky in that no one is waiting to get on to the pitch after us! So we started to shout 'first to five' after the match and almost have another match out of it.

    First to five may be a bit much though... Best of 5 (i.e. first to 3) is probably more reasonable.

    We're starting to make the Security Guard make a show of waiting around for us so I might have to slip him a fiver or something :pac:

    No harm handing him a 6-pack of beer every now-and-again if he's giving ye free pitch time. We get the pitch manager a bottle of Jameson at Xmas and he normally only calls us off on-the-hour if there's subsequent booking or if he's locking up to go home.
