Looking at the project there are only 2 stops from m3 parkway to Navan (Dunshaughlin and Kilmessan) assuming the planning has to be re done should the gorvernment consider a branch line in the direction of Ratoath/Ashbourne? Could many services be squeezed in on the double track line from m3 parkway to docklands or would the line be too congested?

Capacity wise, they would need to close the remaining level crossings but once that is done the biggest issue would be crossing trains at Glasnevin Junction - and there isn't the land to make that a flying junction really.

Services coming from the m3 parkway towards docklands dont need to cross the junction i dont belive they just go straight and take the south line bypasing drumcondra and serve docklands

The inbound (to Docklands) trains cross the outbound line.

Put away the crayons, there has been enough messing with the design stage as it is.
