Folks - anyone who emailed pics/ dropbox links to the email address as proof - did you get emails from 'box' saying 'success! your email attachment was uploaded to Box...'

I'm wondering if this is the EP people looking through my stuff and its an automated thing??

I was hacked (badly!!) earlier this year and I get into a severe panic if I start seeing something odd/ odd emails coming through...
    just wanted to check..

Yeah i got one of those, got the code a short while later.

    *tickets bought* :)

Have two friends who were at it the past three years and haven't been able to get their codes at all. One just bit the bullet and bought the regular early bird one for 205 for fear of missing out entirely, but the other is holding out. Can't blame him, really!

If anyone has a spare code I could pass onto them, it would be greatly appreciated. No worries at all if not though!

93 Euro for a 75 Euro campervan pass. 12.50 delivery charge. Ticketmaster are a ****ing abomination.

This is feckin outrageous .. ! Just went through this myself.

Rang them and my account only showed history of one purchase. She gave me 3 year code regardless. Bought two tickets there on the installment plan.

If anyone has a spare code the gf would appreciate it, she didn't make the initial cut for the first two I purchased. Had to give first preference to the friend that purchased with me for 2016.

If this were my household, I would be in for a bad weekend.

Oh, there's no way they've increased capacity imo. Family campervan they've probably shrunk going by previous years.

They moved the Family Campervans out of the Family Camping 1 site this year. Which meant that they only needed 1 Family Camping space rather than having 2.

I think I walked by it on the Friday when we first entered the main arena. They had changed the usual entrance to Soul Kids which was the ridiculous walk around the lake. When we initially went in we took the entrance around by VIP Camping/Hendrix way because the entrance to Soul Kids was blocked, presumably to stop the crazies from Hendrix going the wrong way. Was annoyed that we weren't told that we were going the wrong way. Once we got further in we kept asking staff if we were going the right way and no one had a clue, they just kept sending us further into Hendrix. It was in a state already and it was only Friday!! Anyway, it was all sorted in the end. :)

Getting back to my original point re Family Campervans, if that was the location, it certainly looked very cramped.

It's a total scam. 12.50 to send a very light envelope that'd cost me *at most* 6.25 to send via An Post.

Got my first ever ep ticket, can't wait for it. Haven't had a camping festival yet but this and nos alive next year should be a good introduction!

Well of course not. EP are pretty shameful too - campervan tix cost about 60 euro in 2015, and they've done *nothing* to improve the site since then, yet the tickets have gone up 15 euro. Ridiculous.

This "early entry pass" is a bit mad - €25 extra to go down a day early and pitch a tent when there's nothing to do?

If loads of people go for this, then arriving at the usual time on the usual Friday is going to be a massive pain in the arse.

At least with everyone arriving on Friday - theres a pretty good pick of where you want to camp.
I know (with 3 kids - an added night looking for a babysitter/ leaving), that going Thursday wouldnt be great for me personally - so I wouldnt go for it.

I suspect there will be a Portlaoise DJ Collective playing in AhNoChronic ...although that would be an extravagance that we do not see anymore at EP.

They'll have to start letting food trucks operate on the Thursday at the very least. There was zero happening when we arrived with the campervan last week.

Yep, I really hope there are limited numbers.

Reminds me of Oxegen, absolutely nothing to do on the first night (bar maybe a silent disco?) and the campsites were warzones. Big buzzkill for latecomers the next day if the site is already a mess.

I presume they'll have some limited entertainment in Salty Dog and/or Trenchtown.

If it means a better experience traffic wise for me on the Friday, I'm all for it.

A word to those considering buying one, but also considering staying in PM or boutique camping. I wouldn't bank on them opening on the Thursday evening.

    Still no code :(
    Keep refreshing inbox.
Seen on Twitter that it can take up to 3 working days from the day you apply.

    SAKE!

Family camping tickets now sold out too. They've definitely reduced the size of this and the Family campervan site again this year. Sad.

How likely are the early bird tickets to sell out?

I think it's based on time, rather than volume? Like they stop at the end of October until Feb/Mar? Could be wrong...

anyone on Gmail .. i almost missed my voucher code .. cos it was in my "Promotions" box as opposed to my INBOX...

    YMMV

    from EP website:
The loyalty scheme (and use of discount codes) will end at 5pm Monday, 31st October 5pm, or in the event of a sell-out of the allocation, whichever comes first.

    Oh yikes, forgot about tickets.

This year don't care about family camping.

Eco was so civilised this year. And also very handy.

    Oooh good tip!
Got all excited there for a sec and went to check my 'junk' folder (yahoo) . Alas - I just have messages from 'viagra', 'bendmeover', 'naughtyfun' and a subject line of 'love, sex and drugs' etc.

Which might be handier closer to the time but not just yet..

    I'll keep checking both.

It's great isn't it? So chilled in there opposed to the craziness of everywhere else.

If they get those solar showers for next year it'll be the icing on the cake!

I get what you're saying, but it's not quite an accurate analogy unfortunately. More accurate would be that you went to a bar that you love, then got a crap pint, complained to yourself, but went to the bar again for the same crap pint, because the alternatives are drinking a literal (but free) pint of toilet water, or leaving the bar completely.

Ha ha. Right I get what you're saying (and a much better analogy than mine to be fair).
