Does anyone know how I'd be able to find/ or if there is a bus organised by anyone going from Dundalk?

    Ah FFS. Is that necessary?

No, I didn't particularly like it. It was a very large set of speakers playing very loud dance music. I went in, stayed a while and said "this isn't for me" so I went off and watched a band or something.

Trying to put together a list of the heavier sort of bands playing, I need loud guitars and drums at various points over the weekend to keep me going.

    So far:

    New valley wolves
    Bitch falcon
    Wolff
    Otherkin

Probably throw the hot sprockets into that group as well.

Any other recommendations to check out?

    Goat girl have potential too

No, it's the same 2 guys, but they also have a live music band just called Soulwax. If you like their 2manydjs sets though, you might indeed like their own music. Their most recent album FROM DEEWEE is excellent.

Wonder if there's a chance of 2manydjs doing a set?

Hot tubs and yoga classes up for booking, if that's your thing.

Poorside are you related to the electronic group Poolside?

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Nope, it's actually a rugby related name.

I'm trawling through the website and it seems DJ Yoda is doing the Stranger Things set, be great if it was a very late set.

Probably not, I think they're booked for Samhain festival as 2manydjs, which is likely an exclusive sort of thing.

Listened to that on soundcloud, about 40 mins into it and it's The Smiths!
Could reschedule the teenage kicks session for during that... :D

What a band they are / he is. Gonna be huge in the next few years, we will look back in amazement at how far down the bill they were

I got a notification on facebook 2 hours ago saying that "Tiga added a new event near you: Electric Picnic 2017", so I assume that is him going to be in the final announcement which must be coming in the next few days. Delighted as he is one of the best electronic acts I've seen and don't think he has played EP in about 5 years now.

Was prattling on about it since they were announced that year, finally found it after Tame Impala on the Sunday & they were finishing up to the strands of "I Feel Love". Crushed so I was.

This may come as a shock but people have different musical tastes and not everyone is a huge fan of dance music.

I just spat my cornflakes out :pac:

Of course I understand that. But for someone to say they don't see the appeal of Despacio is just plain silly

I'm in the same boat but I've just had my interest increased slightly after listening to Bicurious who play the Salty Dog. Give them a listen.

Now that a few others have come out I think it's ok for me to say that I don't particularly like dance music. I also don't listen to 2FM.

I've seen Car Set Headrest and definitely recommend them for those who haven't.

They were only occasionally playing dance music in there though

Bring lots of layers of clothes as it gets really cold at night when the sun goes down. 2 years ago i was wearing a hat and gloves at night as it was freezing and hoodies, jacket etc.
