Fully agreed. They've only given the names of 11 of the 20 acts but I'm not holding out much hope for the other 9.

Where would ya find the rest?

The Skatalites fcuking yes, amazing ska and reggae, Clark another electronica Warp label head (Not bad), Tiga (nice), Kila (were lively at Beatyard so no harm) not too bad.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

These two have been on the Body & Soul lineup for a while - more doubling up? That's it I'm not going.

That reference to 20 acts is from the June announcement. Why 98fm included that tweet in today's article is not clear...

I'm normally quite pragmatic about announcements but that's incredibly weak.

There's definitely 5 acts there that I'll go see but very underwhelming.

Pure load of shyt. Sell the thing out months beforehand and add a load of nobodys for a huge profit $$$

Not too bad really with a few gems in Giggs, Clark, The Skatalites and Mr Jukes. Also would quite like to see Touts as well.

Mr jukes by the way is ex lead singer from Bombay bicycle club, pretty cool jazz influenced style and well worth checking out.

Only ones that will trouble my list are Fangclub and All Tvvins.
Disappointed they've missed the boat with a good heritage punk band.

Hot Press have the same list so I guess it's correct:

    http://www.hotpress.com/Electric-Picnic/news/Giggs-Le-Galaxie-Fangclub-All-Tvvins-and-more-are-among-final-acts-added-to-Electric-Picnic/20397390.html

We were never getting any big names but I was hoping for more tbh.

Poorside, I've been reading your posts and your tastes are similar to mine. Check out Touts. Seriously they will be amazing live.

I'm guessing Nobody's Heros is obviously something to do with SLF?

6 of those had already been announced.
