Ha Ha - Man I think you need to add Fontaines to your list given your posts. I just listened to a couple of tracks.

I'll give them a listen later, put the unofficial EP Spotify list on shuffle last Sunday and was happily surprised with the amount of bands that were nothing like I presumed they'd be.

Just did a quick favourites list, 36 on my list already, imma gonna be busy.

I've always struggled to see more than 25 acts over the weekend. I'd say with 36 on a list, clashes will rule out ten anyway.... still, eat often and don't booze too much and you'll get most of the way there!

The 29euro pop up tents in Argos are very decent for 1 person + bags, survived many an EP and very satisfying putting up a tent in 30 seconds.

    As long as it's a double-skinned pop-up tent!

Going to be spending the next week or so listening to a lot of the acts I wouldn't be as familiar with. Listened to a good few tonight, Father John Misty doesn't do it for me at all. Can't decide about Interpol or Elbow yet. Liking Real Estate and All Tvvins more than I thought I would. Anyone able to recommend anything by Car Seat Headrest, Young Fathers or Everything Everything?
For Car Seat Headrest I'd say give Teens of Denial a listen, its great and the first 7/8 songs are basically his current live set. I think Young Fathers second album is probably their best and most accessible while I don't think Everything Everything have made a bad album yet although I prefer their most recent two.

I'll be delighted if I manage to see most of these

Extraordinary good taste being displayed in here. I feel my weekend will be spent at gigs peopled wall to wall by fellow boardies. God bless you all. Where does everybody's Venn diagrams overlap? Public Service Broadcasting? These Charming Men? I'm off to get my username tattooed on my forehead. I suggest you all do the same.

    My must sees:

    Kiasmos
    Soulwax
    Pond
    The xx
King Kong Company (they were fantastic last year)

    Looking forward to seeing:

    Bicep
    Pete Tong
    Hannah Wants
    Mano Le Tough
    The Pretenders
    Madness

I don't get the appeal of A Tribe called Quest.
I'm surprised at how far down Madness and The Pretenders are on the line-up poster.

Kiasmos were great at the Body & Soul festival a few years ago.

    My must see bands are:

    Parquet Courts
    Father John Misty
    London Grammar
    Madness
    Duran Duran

Won't be getting down till Saturday morning and going by what people are saying Joplin is one of the quieter camp sites, what's the chances on the Saturday ?

Fair few acts for me anyway this year, obviously won't see them all but I'm interested in :

    Hip Hop:
    Tribe Called Quest
    Run The Jewels
    Vince Staples
    Rusangano Family

    Electronic/Dancey stuff:
    Bicep
    Clark
    Kelly Lee Owens
    Soulwax
    King Kong Company
    Floating Points
    Kiasmos

    Alt/Rock/whatever else:
    Real Estate
    Parquet Courts
    Moses Sumney (excellent!)
    Carseat Headrest
    Pond
    Madness
    Skatalites
    Interpol
    Kila
    Japandroids
    Young Fathers
    Perfume Genius

Depending on set clashes and the obvious getting sidetracked having the craic elsewhere, I'll make a call on what do try to go to come the weekend.

If I was to recommend one act to all of you I would say Le Boom.

Saw them for the first time at castlepalooza after hearing lots of good things about them and they were amazing. Irish act who only have onw released song so far but have a great catalogue of live tunes. Live electronic pop kind of music with a girl on drums and a lad on live vocals. I would say it is impossible not to find them enjoyable and having a dance at them.

I've heard they are closing out the body and soul main stage on the Saturday night (could be wrong), I have a feeling they will be an act we are all talking about on the Monday morning. Be warned!!

    100% agreed. They're simply brilliant.

They closed the forest stage on friday of Body and Soul this year. It was insanely good. Best gig of the weekend for me

With you 100% on both of the above. King Kong are always a must see. The xx...I may as well watch paint dry. Not an ounce of craic to be had either with them, just can't see the appeal especially in a live atmosphere on a headline slot. If clash finder is anyway correct right now it looks like Vince staples and Run The Jewels will be in a tent back to back during their set anyway so that's where I'll be.
