    hello,
just ran a motorcheck on a car I am about to buy.

the number of owners are different - 3 instead of 2 as the registration book says.

car was owned by 4 dealers from November 2014 until October 2015 - is this a concern.

then a private owner for 7 days, then what seems to be the current owner until now.

Registration book would say number of previous owners 2, this would mean the car has 3 owners as current owner would count as 3rd which would show on motorcheck.

Is it a UK import? Previous UK owners do not appear on the Irish logbook but would appear on a history report. 4 dealer keepers normally would means the car was sold on between them in that timeframe. The private owner for 7 days is a bit of a mystery unless that person bought and then changed it over to a spouse.

    Cert says previous owners
Ie when you're the first owner the cert says 0 previous owners.

not a uk import, original irish car. has a full service history up until the end of 2014, around the time it started changing hands between dealers.

I'd say it was something like that alright, that the person needed to change over for insurance purposes or something.
