Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've only come in for the last 15 minutes but Randolph has been woeful

We don't deserve anything from this game. Even now when we need a goal we can't pass the ball which is shocking from paid players.

I apologise for expecting a team of millionaire football players to be pushed to play better football than this by their coaches that are some of the highest paid in International football.

you said you were delighted though? Why does it delight you to see this. I think its nightmare stuff from an Irish fan's POV.

Harsh because he has hardly put a foot wrong till tonight but Westwood is better than Randolph.

O Neill getting exactly what he deserves.

    Awful decision for a pen.

    No, but it doesn't help,

The thing is though, like has been mentioned previous, MON has his excuse now and probably won't face any questions about his tactics, or rather lack thereof.

Good decision from the linesman, better from Ireland though

Yes, a striker that has never scored a goal coming on.

I predict at least one more goal and a red card in this one

Referee just isn't being impartial in this game. Creaming himself when he gives decisions to Serbia.

Only ourselves to blame though. Irish teams are always lauded for their work rate and spirit. Never impressed me much. True courage is showing for the ball and actually playing with conviction. We're spineless at that.

Hendrick off? Are they smoking some Serbian export?

    While Whelan stays on.....

Because if MON wins with this style he gets new contracts, we have to watch absolutely sh*te stone age football and it holds back our NT.

Crash & burn in 2018 qualifying. Get rid of O'Neill and start a new era with hopefully a decent coach that will let the lads play. That is my hope.

Ref is from Hungary. This neighbourly love is like something from Eurovision.

Clutching at straws there, you do know that some neighbours don't get on?

    Coleman has been dreadful.

Murphy with the first touch of an atomic bomb there.

yellow card, looking edgy and he plays with a bit of wildness at times. We need to get physical now and its too high a risk having him on

Where was this for the hour between our goal and their first?

FFS. There really is no excuse for MON's tactics.

And after MON who do you hope? We have already ran Trappatoni.

We are starting to play now, bloody 20 mins too late at this stage.

    Murphy...God I miss Robbie Keane...

Edit - 'twas always coming, Robbie who?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

If we'd played more like we are now, not that it is brilliant, for the whole game we could be 2 or more up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Clearly not working at all since the 10th minute of the match and yet MON leaves it till an hour later and when we are 2-1 down to change it.

What exactly is he being paid for??

This is as inept a managerial performance as I've seen in years.

They are awful at the back when under any sort of pressure.

O Neill is a dinosaur and has no place in charge of this team.
