And now they're punishing us with this diabolical jingoistic tuneless braindead sh1t.

Yeah I've idea who the lad singing is. But it was nice to see the chief bob costas on my screen.

He said freedom and flag an awful lot.A shot at kaep ?

Slept at 9pm. Woke up at 10pm. Feel even more wrecked. Time for coffee methinks.

First time in a few years that I've been able to stay up late to watch a primetime game.

Start a new job on Tuesday so I'll enjoy this weekend as best I can. ;)

Didn't realise that BBC 5 Live are doing radio commentaries of the NFL.

I dunno, this sort of flags and troops and freedom ****e seems to float around the NFL a lot anyway. It's a good cover-up for complete mediocrity.

Speaking of which, there's another blast of it on right now...this is embarrassing, especially the crowd.

It does make you want to see someone get hit so in that sense it's perfect. Shame they won't be hitting one of these singers.

Still, you can't go wrong with that. €35 profit on your 20.

No panel on Sky Sports for late night games?

Small bet on the first TD being defensive or special teams at 7/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

I fúcking hate the US national anthem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,927 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

Who was that kneeling during the anthem?

    EDIT Brandon Marshall.

Nice odds that. Hopefully it's for Luuuuuke, one of favourite current players.

I really think Michael Schofield could have a... breakout.... season.

I hope someone gets that :o

Siemian. He's looked pretty good on his opening couple of plays

Welcome to the NFL regular season Devontae Booker :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Very nice start by Siemian, then it all gets ruined by a way too careless looking fumble from the rookie rb. Frustrating for Denver, I imagine.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

Just as I was typing that this was an unexpectedly good drive :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

That was always Bookers problem in college.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

And Devontae Booker was never seen again...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Never saw Johnson make the play the first time. Not quite as bad a fumble as I first thought

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    2 timeouts burned already. Ouch.

Could've had a free play there but instead burn a timeout.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

    Too easy that one.

Did not expect Benjamin to step up so big so immediately. Frightening to think what himself and Cam will be like if he kicks on from his rookie year

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Didn't see too much by way of taunting in that....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,605 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Powerful drive from the Panthers, Stewart did a great job breaking the tackle and getting the 1st down earlier. Benjamin looking like a monster already.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

So Denver do actually have an offence.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand just as I type, they turn it over Eli Manning style.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

This is already way better than the superbowl.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,297 ✭✭✭coco0981

2 turnovers already for Denver. Siemian has actually started well despite that throw

  • Registered Users Posts: 541 ✭✭✭In Exile

I think he actually looks fairly good. Doesn't look too overawed and has, mostly, taken the right option. Even that throw last unlucky. A couple of inches higher and it looks amazing.

Interesting to see how he goes now after an interception

I love when fullbacks score. Even better when its a rookie on his first carry!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Big fan of that full back carrying the ball with two hands into the endzone despite nobody near him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,605 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

    Pretty special there alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Cam not happy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,605 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Denver not doing great against the Panther's running game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Cam's agility when under pressure is a joy to watch.

3rd 12 men penalty against Denver in the half, so much for homefield advantage. Panthers running all over Denver so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Chip sandwich and tea. Desperately needed at this stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,927 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

It's been entertaining anyway. Cam remains the most enjoyable player to watch in the league IMO.
