Heading to Orlando at the end of October for 2 weeks. There will be 4 adults 2 teens and a 15 month old baby. We have a free shuttle bus from our hotel to the parks but we think we would be better off with a car.

Thing is we all have s poor credit rating so therefore when we are trying to rent a car for the 2 weeks our cards are getting declined.

Any ideas around this? We have the cash to pay just a poor credit rating which is very frustrating.

Are you saying that your credit cards are maxed out?

You will find it very difficult to hire a car in Orlando without a functioning credit card as they will want a swipe of it before they give you the rental agreement & the car, for that size party with luggage you will probably need a minivan not a car

Yeah it's maxed out. Sorry I should have said a minivan instead of a car

Unless you can free up some space on your credit card you will struggle to hire a vehicle

Don't forget, if you're driving to the parks, they will charge you $20 a day for parking, if you go everyday, that's $280 on parking alone!

You could just use Uber to get around. You'll still need to have a few hundred available on a credit card, but not nearly as much as you'd need to rent a car.
