    Yeah stamp duty too, at the usual rate. Yep looks like we got charged a lot more than your original quote anyway.
    Wouldn't deal with our crowd again anyhow, so they won't catch me twice :)

    I'd always advise anyone else to shop around but the crowd we used had always put a lot of business our way so I was trying to return the favour.

    Professional fee to include all Vatable outlays, Agency fees, postage, phone calls, photocopying etc. - €850.00
    VAT at 23% - €195.50

    Charges paid by us to third parties:-
    Stamp Duty – 1% of purchase price
    Land Registry fees
    - Purchase - €700.00
    - Mortgage - €175.00
    Searches - €79.00

    Commissioners fees - €20.00
    Copy folio print-out - €40.00
    Secured Document Exchange (DX) - €8.50

    Can anyone please PM me their solicitor details in the Dublin area? Getting stuck into the house buying process now and would appreciate any help! The fees you mention Audi_12 sound good, so would be interested to talk to your solicitor if you have details?

    For reference Audi_12's fees are a little on the cheap side - not too bad but you very much get what you pay for. If you shoot at the €1100 - €1200 range you'll be looking at someone who is probably able to talk to you occasionally. I'll PM you someone who's a bit dearer but worth every penny.
