Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycling Lane into Town from Lucan

Has anyone on here used these recently? They are covered in glass after every weekend. Its infuriating!
I only recently decided to use them having previously used the M4 but I'm starting to regret it.
Is there anyone in the council who this can be raised to? Surely a quick sweep once a week wouldn't cost too much...

Ya its shocking. It wouldn't take much to get it sorted. I've somehow managed to avoid a puncture to date but I'm sure one is on the way.

Which part of the cycle lane are you talking about?

Typically, I cycle to town through Ballyfermot (from the roundabout at the Fonthill Retail Park). It depends on where you're coming from, but from my side of Lucan it's shorter than the dual carriageway (N4)or beside the Phoenix Park.

Whenever I encounter broken glass, I raise an issue on http://fixyourstreet.ie/
In SDCC areas, I've found them quite responsive with a cleaning crew dispatched in about 24-36 hours. My biggest delay is remembering to do it after I get into work.
