Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

idmobile prepay hidden charge

    Hi all,

    Just back from the idmobile store in Harvey Norman. Wanted to get a prepay account for my son. They are running a great €15 deal and was going to get this in store.

    However, the idmobile staff member told me there was a further €2 charge for the SIM card. I had a look through the t&cs before I left my house and could did not come across this.

    Brought this to their attention, unable to waive this charge. The staff member was really apologetic and rang idmobile customer care for me.

    Spoke with a member of customer care who informed me that they do not charge the €2 but that the individual store did. Explained that I was in a direct idmobile store with idmobile staff and not one of their affiliate stores. I presumed that the contract was with idmobile and that this was not in t&cs.

    She spoke with the sales staff member but as there was no manager on duty the staff member could not waive this.

    Should this be allowed?
    Advertising for a particular deal with no mention of hidden charges. Maybe someone here could advise.
