We just moved into a rented apartment. All the lights are fine except for the kitchen and bathroom. When we flick the switch they take about 15 seconds to light up. There is no blinking or anything during the 15 seconds.

We tried the bulbs in a different apartment and they light instantly.

Any ideas what the problem is?

The light bulb is the tube funny loop one that are in most apartment bathrooms. See attached image.

Seems like the starter is the problem.change it and it should work fine

    Thanks.

Does it not seem odd that the lights in both rooms take so long.

The previous tenants (4 years) said that the lights have always been like this.
