Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Excited to see Iheanacho start, for me hes the most exciting prospect in world football, I see him carrying the torch for superstar African strikers

He looks like a proper player in the small amount I've seen him. Could see him and Rashford being compared and competing with each other for years to come.

Part of me wished Rooney and co didn't shake the hands of the City players to rile them up and thus adding another element of all-out war to this game :pac:

I don't really, but it would have been tense.

Nice counter attack. Think Pogba could have held that ball a little longer

  • Lingard losing possession twice
    Wake up

    Pogba nearly

Don't think there's a better player with the ball at his feet than De Bruyne.

City have definitely started the better team anyhow.

Sterling looks so dangerous since Pep came in. City the better team so far but United dangerous on the counter.

Lingard way out of his depth.

This game is absolutely tailor made for Rashford with this high City line.

Very poor start from the Armenian.

Has given possession away too easily a few times.

For all of their arsing about with short passes, it's the long pass that does the damage

Armenian didn't even make himself available again when he passes to Rooney, and then didn't close down in the corner. Though I suspect the latter may have been tactical.

    He's been dreadful.

What a counter attack. All that came from Rooney giving it away.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

    Deserved lead for City.

  • Lingard **** off
    5 times now

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 601 ✭✭✭Charizard

All started with Rooney thinking he had time on the ball and losing it. Where does he get the notion he has that much space in the middle of the field for a hollywood pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

This could be 6-1 all over again.
