Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't care if it's the first half he needs to make changes. This could be a disgrace

On a plate.! Think mou could do with swinging the axe and pull some players before half time.

Ouch. If i conceded a goal like that in FIFA i'd be crying about scripting.

Iheanacho again. Those reactions and his footballing intelligence are what make him a special player.

Easy call for the linesman really.

City will win the league if this is how they play after three games under Guardiola

    Who will Mourinho blame though?

This could legitimately be a hammering. City have been immense.

Can't believe Jose sold De Bruyne. Best player on the pitch by miles.

Yeah without a doubt, totally outclassing Utd. How the hell are they allowing De Bruyne so much space in the box? Every time a Utd player has the ball he's harried and hassled into giving up possession, when City have the ball all the Utd players stand off.

It's just a question of class so far.

Heading for another Manita for Pep v Mou.

United have been all over the place at the back.

    Lingard off

Game over, Guardiola deserves the lavish praise that AIG will no doubt provide.

De Bruyne turns about 5 United players there for that cross.

Can see this City team picking up loads of injuries this year. I know they won't need this pace every week. But there's some amount of work ethic out there.

This is a fantastic performance by City, well worth the two goal lead

His reaction looks as if he was sure he was offside

It's too early to say game over, far, far to early for that, but Utd will have to certainly improve. If City decide to sit back a bit though it will change the dynamic of the game entirely.

Will Fellaini be moved back to CF again, or does Ibrahimovic remove the need for that tactic?

He's so good it's frightening. And he's relatively underhyped too, which could work well for him.

Not too early to say it's over, United have no foothold in this game, were this a boxing match the ref would have stopped it by now.

Masterclass going on here ibra has been neutralized defense is nowhere to be seen. Pogba looks lost. We need a miricle.

United, if they're to have any chance, need to get more compact at the back and in the middle and bring on Martial and Rashford, to kill City on the break. Said in the build-up but City play such a high line that their pace could really catch them.

Pep would have been delighted to see that United were starting with Rooney and Ibrahimovic - they're a front line with a combined age of 64 and look every inch of it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52,404 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

City look awesome and with Kompany and Aguerro to return it's ominous for the rest.

  • Classic Rooney

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,774 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Mourinho normally plays extra body in midfield for big games. Probably reluctant to do so today given united are known for attack rather than being cagey.

But De Bruyne finding acres of room in between midfield and United's defence. A holding player might have closed that gaping hole.
