Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mkhitaryan has lost the ball every time he received it. He will be gone at Half time

    Sexy Ibra

    5-2 is still on baby.

    Great goal.

Joe Harte would have got that :D

Good work from John Stones, great pressure on his own keeper there.

Pep replaces one calamity keeper with another. United don't deserve a goal but we'll take it.

    Glazers Out!

What a soft goal to give up after 42 mins of domination.

Good finish by Ibra but awful mistake by Bravo.

Poor from the keeper. Gift of a goal.

    Such a tidy composed finish,

Massive for United to go in only 1 down considering the first half performances.

    Happy for Joe Hart :P

"A premier league cross". Do they not cross the ball into the box in Spain?

Unreal that there's only a goal in this. Utter domination from City.

    Its a great game tbf.

City are dominant but United hanging in there.

Great finish by Zlatan but jokeshop keeping.

    So undeserved, shocking goalkeeping.

On general play undeserved but totally deserved considering the only challenge he had was from his defence shocking

Still think City's class will see this through, Utd's goal against run of play and stemming from a keeper error.

What did he do to deserve a yellow there? I couldn't see anything in it.

Great free from Rooney, if he only had that much time in open play. Magic finish from Zlatan, time for Jamie to say something amazing about City

City are doing their best at the back to throw this away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

I'd say Joe Hart enjoyed the last 10 minutes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

Sweet Jesus Bravo is having a nightmare. Utd just need to shoot on sight.

Should be more goals in this.

    I'll say 3-3

    Mental ending to that half

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

That was a captivating first half.

Momentum switch to United with the goal.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Gee wizz city are poor at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

United should be dead and buried but Bravos head is completely gone... and thats a HUGE deal. You can't sub the keeper.

Unbelievably, Utd have now fluffed two golden chances in the last 3 mins.

It should be 2-2. Zlatan had time there which I'm not sure he realised.

Interesting second half in store. Utd wouldn't have wanted play to stop there, momentum was shifting a bit. Second half City will take control again I reckon.

10 City players playing really well, with their keeper doing his utmost to keep Utd in the game. Awful from him so far, and they are lucky it's not 2-2 now.

Very enjoyable game as a neutral though.

Was a bit harsh but he should have been booked earlier. I doubt he will hold back now that he's on a card either.

Pace of the game is too much for him, doesn't look match fit, injury obviously isn't ready to start.

What a great end to the half . Good to see MU get back into it and make a game of it , I thought City were gonna blow them away .

Worst individual performance I've seen in a United jersey in years. That includes the ads our players have been in. He's been astronomically bad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,341 ✭✭✭El Horseboxo

All the hard work and City's back line doing their best to undo it and hand it to United. Too much messing about trying to be cute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,610 ✭✭✭IncognitoMan

City are soft at the back. The ending to that half is how United need to start the 2nd preferably with Rashford on the pitch. There's life in this match yet

After 3 games people were saying utd were in with a shout for the title. I was saying it will take a while to shake the negativity of the last few years and that team need a few months to settle in.

After that first half I think I was right. Let's forget the league for now, concentrate on playing well, hopefully finishing 4th. Anything else a bonus
