Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No penalty. Not given because it never was.
    Move on lads.

Its not. Confidence is required. Arrogance is not. The sign of a great leader is to admit your mistakes. Too many in the game think far too much of themselves.

We all make mistakes. It shows maturity to admit them. Pep got that game tactically wrong. Badly. Very, very badly. He should have saved his players and held his hands up. He didnt.

Yea whatever.......he's a top manager , you're not, so he's doing something right.

How do you know he doesn't admit those things privately to his players. Do you want public admissions making him look weak?

Not sure about the Bravo incident.

He won the ball, but it was reckless.

One of those that the referee will give a free kick for outside the box but not a penalty.

United fans calling for a handball when the ball hits Otemendi's back is ridiculous.

Rooney has been much better in the second half after I criticized him at half time. Probably because he's out of midfield and is playing as a wide forward. He seems much more natural there.

Not a great shot there though.

Nice dive Ibra, Stones nowhere near him.

Which top manager doesnt have this trait?

Ancelotti. Klopp. Two managers just off the top of my head who admitted they got the selection/tactics wrong and took the blame for a defeat. Plenty of managers have done it in the past.

United are playing like Wimbledon circa 1992 using their physical superiority, its good to watch the clash of styles

Take it from me that not one commentator on UK tv pronounces it right.

He's not "De Broyne" or "De Brewnye" either.

No it wasn't. You think it should have been which is your opinion, but still doesn't change the fact that it wasn't, even if it was 100% blatant, as it wasn't given.

City surely can't hold out being this shaky at the back unless they score again to kill the game off (probably) can they?

Would that have counted if Ibra hadn't touched it?

Aye, they're not perfect but at least put the letters in the right order. Same thing as Carzola

Shouldn't have, ibra was in the eyeline of the keeper.

Probably not, but I think it was going straight at the keeper anyway.

Let's be honest, of all the people on the pitch today to say look poor value stones shouldn't be the one who gets singled out. He's been good.

City should have had a penalty there too.

Right, evened out. No more complaints.

Possibly, but it shouldn't haveas he was right between the ball and the keeper, so in the line of sight. Seen them given both ways, but would have been technically offside I believe.

Very tramp like by Bailly there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Penalty and a clear red for Bailly, probably had to go for it but nowhere near the ball.

Frustrating how often they arent given

After a quiet start to the season KDB showing his class again. Hard to believe he slipped through the net at Chelsea.

Weren't there stories about home-sickness or something at the time? Couple more years of maturity and development paying off now.

Is this all Rooney can do. Looking for penos for nothing. If he keeps that up for the season, every ref will ignore him even when there is a genuine shout.
