Over paid credit card

In error I over paid my credit card and now have a credit balance. Is it a simple process to get those funds returned to my current account? I don't intend on using the card for quite some time so want to money back. Thanks in advance

Call your issuing bank and ask. You may be able to do a cash advance from your card, if it's set up for that, but there may still be a fee for that even if your balance is negative.

The simplest way to get your money back quickly would probably just be to use the card for all your day-to-day expenses until you've used up the negative balance. Unless you overpaid by a significant amount, it shouldn't take long to use it up.
