    Marty to go tonight?

Next week is switch up week!
So, I take it no elimination!

Maia underscored again - no way was Anna 3 points better than her.

    .

Either would do me. They're miles behind in standard

Is that the way it works?? (Can't remember from last time, would have assumed they'd still be up for elimination)

Well, that was quite...... odd

Have to say the pro dances have been very imaginative this series! Just not sure if I was mad about that one......

To the best of my knowledge that's what they did last week. I think the scores were carried forward tough!

    AFAIK, no elimination

Marty or Maïa. Think Bernards humour will see him get another 2 weeks.

Those 3 have been cutaway from the rest.

    Hope Marty goes

    Who's on subtitles tonight? Evelnn???

Ah.... Brian let something slip there..... what happens if there's an uneven number of boys and girls left for switchup week?? Does this influence who gets eliminated this week? Or do they have spare pros for exactly this scenario???

Ah I can't get into this season of
"Dancing with the staff" of RTE. Much prefer dancing on Ice TBH.

I'd take they just use some of the stars who's already gone home!

    Rob to go?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,072 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

    Maia surely

Feel bad for Maia. She was far better than some of those staying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,755 ✭✭✭✭freshpopcorn

I'm surprised she got this long out of it to be honest!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,507 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Awww, I'm genuinely sorry to see Maia go. I think she had (unfortunately slow-developing) potential. And she was streets ahead of Marty and Bernard (and probably Rob as well).

Right.... off to the ice now :D

Marty and Bernard stay and Maia goes home. Ridiculous. The Irish public wouldn't no what good dancer was if it kicked them up the hole :)

Totally agree. I really think Maia was really harshly scored each week.
    Sad to see her go

Evening all .. it appears to be more of a personality contest. It sad to see decent dancers go especially as Maya had her best week . .Bernard should have gone. .Maybe cos I think he is crap at comedy too !!

Its as much of a popularity contest as it is a dancing contest to be honest. Anna Geary done very well and yet could have went home tonight.

I'd take they just use some of the stars who's already gone home!

They'd use a pro whose star was sent home...all the pros are engaged for the entire series afaik.

Anyhow, there's an extra female pro dancer who only dances the pro dances...

I think the other 2 to accompany whomever got the least amount of votes is just chosen at random. I sincerely doubt Anna was that low after coming out on top last week.

His jokes can be hit and miss but he seems a cool down to earth person at the same time. I like his 'Eamon' character. Very relatable.

Totally disgusted that Maia is gone....but the format of the show allows this, mixing a popularity contest with a talent contest.....I think the format should be changed, leave it to the judges only. Can you imagine how those good dancers feel who have already gone, knowing that the likes of Marty and Bernard are still there......
