Big difference in Fred, this year's comedian and last year's, Bernard O'Shea. The later felt he had to be funny every second he was on screen and was a pain.

The production is stunning. Costumes, choreography, the set, lights, presenters, dancers. Great show.

The orchestra is a huge bonus . Stunning music

    Ah they're just different people.
    Fred is a sensitive soul.
I like Bernard on the radio.

Peter should be in the dance off. Just can't decide who should be joining him.

Fred is a bit of a dark horse. He can actually dance and has rhythm.

Lorraine was actually spot on about that. He seems like a nice guy too tbh - masterstroke pairing him with Giulia as she gets the comedy aspect with the choreography perfectly

That was gorgeous from Cliona and Robert - the music just stunning!

I don't blame Cliona for crying when she heard the orchestra playing that. It is exquisitely beautiful.

Everything about that dance was amazing.......the music, the set, the costumes......and Cliona and Robert, of course!! :):):)

Brian said a few weeks ago that one of the girls might win it this year......looks like we might be watching her here now!!

It probably should be Denis and Peter in the dance off.

    Delighted for Fred (& Giulia!)

Peter to go here surely. Right decision.

His clothes did him no favours.

Hope to god Peter goes, if you can't even do a charleston right then you need to go

    Come on Clelia

That’s peter stringer gone- could never warm to him at all.

    Bye bye Peter :(

He deserves to go in fairness , doesn't seem to have improved as much as the others .

Although I will miss his washboard abs , buns of steel....:D

Before the competition, Brian tipped Fred as the possible winner

Romeo and Juliet theme 1968. Cliona's dance song. Inter Cert 1991 memories.

Cliona the new teachers pet anyway.

Possible winner. She seems to have it all!!

Wow, I'd say Johnny is a bit disappointed to have been knocked off the top.

A tad cruel for him after the euphoria of being the first on the show to get two tens. :(

She'll be in the top 3, with Johnny and the 3rd anyone's guess.

At that stage the 3rd best dancer could win. Public vote, like Aidan O'Mahony 2 years ago.

    You're only 68ish. That's young still.

That tune there (Clelia's) was great.

In fairness to Niamh Brennan, she has grown on me, personality wise. Loud and irritating often, but seems nice woman and isn't sulking about being on the verge of being voted out.
Although she probably knows she will stay

Think Clelia was better second time. Looked like she was enjoying it more
