Robert and Mia Dunphy were rumored to have gotten close last year.

I don't remember seeing Robert last year.

Lucky you. You won't remember him dragging Maia around the floor doing a great impression of Weekend at Bernie's.

I remember Maia but genuinely thought Robert was fresh meat this year. :D

Are they only dancing once tonight or twice or Is there some kind of ballroom blitz?

  • Registered Users Posts: 214 ✭✭blueberrypie

The celebrities are dancing twice tonight.

A swingathon/ballroom blitz with the top couple getting 5 points

and a 2nd dance with their partner to a Eurovision song.

Johnny Logan performing and the Irish entry for 2019 Eurovision will be
    also be performing tonight.

Not sure I like this Eurovision themed night but anyways I will still be glued.

Clelia or Fred to go tonight!

I'm okay with Eurovision week. I just hope they wont go over the top with the Irish theme next weekend.

Eek, I thought for a second there that Nicky had bulked up and aged considerably since last week!
Johnny still sounds great, in fairness to him.

WHAT have they put Robert in?!

Very disappointing again that Mairead’s sexy legs are not properly on display. Someone from costume department needs to be sacked.

As a Eurovision super fan, do not remember this song nor do I associate it with ESC. But maybe I’m just too young for it :P

I always loved his duochrome guitar <3
Glad to see he still has it!

2003 - is that before your time?
I still remember all the words :D although I never liked the song!

    Yippie! I love Johnny Logan.

His voice is still amazing...very powerful. :) So many older singers should hang up their hats as their voices have disimproved to the point of being painful to have to listen to....am thinking of Mary Black, Paul McCartney and a few others. :(

Technically no, but I was only one year old :P

Thought it was closer to 2006 or something though :O

Can't be that much of a fan if you can't remember this classic?! It's one of my favourites!

The judges might bicker a bit with each other but they are very seldom less then a point away from each other.

    Sure you're only a baba!
You should educate yourself on some of Ireland's lesser known entries from back in the day, there were some crackers - Walking the Streets in the Rain, for example.

Clelia looks great - love the hair! I don't like Emily's outfit at all.

It was so popular that year.
We sang it at a school play when I was about 12 and I felt so grown up and everything felt so prosperous.
I remember my siblibgs were 21ish and I remember thinking It would be ages until I'll be that old now I dont know where the time went.

Jonny looks drained God love him .

    Hope he does well .

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,607 ✭✭✭✭freshpopcorn

Even tough that's probably one of my least favourite Eurovision songs.
    That's was very good.

Johnny is the best dancer in the competition. Hope he wins. He's amazing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,373 ✭✭✭tonycascarino

I hope Johnny doesn't win. He clearly has a strong background in dancing, he didn't just pick it all up over night like we are lead to believe. Same with Nathan Carter's brother last year. I would much prefer someone who has no background in dance to go on and win it. What is the point in the competition otherwise?

He deserves 3 tens for that.
