Wide open final, any of them could win, think it'll be lottie, she just seems to be a little bit better

It really is. I have to say I’m enjoying it much more tonight as it’s a bit of escapism

Exactly. Life as we all know it has changed. But for tonight I've switched off. Enjoying this with a glass or 2 of vino. Will go back to the worry in the morning..

    Nathan Carter on Rte - there's a Surprise !!
Karen - Jake Carters girlfriend - must have got Nathan this slot on the show !! Though he lives downstairs in the RTE basement with the Christmas decorations anyway!!

Aidan and Grainne for me stand out. They have came the furthest since the beginning.
Aidan will have the gaa crowd behind him, so I'm rooting for Grainne.

    Yeah, support the nurses!

They were both great for beginners, but Aiden had the benefit of his athleticism, so for me Grainne came the farthest.

    The GAA crowd..

I never get this. Kilkenny is a small county, 100,000 pop roughly. Would Tipp, Cork or Galway hurlers be inclined to pick up the phone?

The GAA people elsewhere are mostly football. I'd imagine Grainne would get Donegal, naturally, Sligo, Mayo northwest GAA vote, if there's such a thing.

If Aidan wins it'll be general likeability. I think that's the big thing. 3 likeable. Lottie not scoring so well on that.

    You underestimate the cliques here.

Yes there are cliques but do they vote?

    Wow! Completely unexpected!!!

Wtf! She was very good obviously but I honestly did not think she was that popular to win it

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,373 ✭✭✭tonycascarino

Great dancer but it is BS... Clearly this was used to launch Lottie with a TV career for RTE....

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,917 ✭✭✭Rfrip

    You are kidding me

    Complete fix

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,262 ✭✭✭✭Autosport

I'm in shock as I think Lottie is

  • Registered Users Posts: 262 ✭✭sugarman20

    Well done Lottie! Well deserved.

She was the best dancer but had an unfair advantage due to her extensive dance training. I thought Grainne or Aidan would win as they’ve improved so much.

I wanted Aidan to win but as long as it wasn't Ryan I'm happy!

Actually looks like it. Went top to bottom twice but now wins?

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,293 ✭✭✭✭leahyl

Very suprised at this...but that’s the way it goes lol

Ah lads stop - look at things like the Facebook likes etc tonight - Lottie was quite popular on it

GAA vote is bull. Aidan O'Mahony won year one.

Denis Bastick, Marty Morrissey, Des Cahill all went out early. Aidan Fogarty lost tonight.

They should release the voting figures

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,719 ✭✭✭jluv

The result goes against the week on week voting but somehow it was never in doubt. Of the 4 couples In the final this was the most disappointing result for me...

The best thing she ever said yes to......

What about your wedding day love???

It has been a bit like Covid 19 last October, nobody saw this coming.

Something very unlikeable about Lottie & we’re going to be seeing a lot more of her, own radio show at the very least
