    Hi everyone,
I'd like to continue this weight log finally. I've been avoiding it because I've had so many up and down days the last few months- but I know it's so important to continue this for motivation purposes. The last 3 days have been successful.

    Current Weight: 13 stone 12lbs.

    30/December/2016

    Calories Eaten: 1,310
    Exercise: 70 minutes gym.

Hey JJayoo, hope you're well and thanks for asking. I was avoiding logging what I ate as I've been up and down with it, but looking forward to writing here again.

Hi motionwaves. Well done and keep it going. New year a new you. I am going to start Monday when kids back to school. I have 2 stone to lose. How do you count calories?

Im not sure how motionwaves is tracking her food but theres an app called myfitnesspal it has a good database of foods and will give you a calarie count.

Keep up the good work motionwaves. Itll be worth it ðŸ‘

Thanks a lot boreen. I'm estimating my calories, guessing sometimes. Counting calories has worked well for my weight loss in the past. Beside this 5 day detox, I'm usually aiming for 1,200 calories daily. I find this very difficult to achieve. You will achieve your goal :) You seem motivated and enthusiastic about it

    Weight now: 13 stone 10lbs.
I'm very disappointed.. I weighed myself this morning and I didn't lose any weight! I restricted my calories to 900-1,000 on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
    I exercised most/all those days.
    I'm very confused!

You need calories to function. You can't expect to survive on 900 calories a day and then add excersise on top of that!

Sometimes it has no reflection on your food intake and exercise, e.g.water weight.

    Today's weight: 13 stone 12lbs.
    Calories eaten: 1,224.
    Exercise: 30 minutes walking.

Okay I have definitely calmed down after the last day I posted! I was very, very disappointed with not losing the weight that I wanted. So I had a few days of eating too much and ignoring exercise again. Now I'm weighing 2lbs more than I started, but I will try to keep trying to lose weight. Not to give up again, just keep going even if I become disappointed.
    Onwards and upwards.

How are you calculating how many calories you need? 1200 is very very low. I'm on a few hundred more than that and am still loosing weight.

If you are healthy eating and even doing a small bit of exercise you should lose weight, and you need an awful lot of water.

I would not agree with a calorie intake of 900-1000 a day myself.

I haven't calculated the calories I need to eat to lose weight. 1,200 is just an amount that I've felt has worked best for me in the past

    Hi everyone,
I'm back again, 1 year later. Showing that excessive overeating and zero exercise can cause a huge weight gain. However I'm now throwing away my pride and returning to boards tracking stats to help with this weight loss. It helped me at the time. I work best with 1,200 (max) calorie counting and 60 minutes of exercise 3 times a week (min).
    So starting again...

    Current weight (1/2/18): 16 stone 9 lbs.
Previous weight on boards (22/1/17): 13 stone 12 lbs.
Short term goal: 15 stone 9 lbs.
    Gender: Female.
    Age: 20's.
    Height: 5 foot 4 inches.

Posting everyday on my daily calorie intake and exercise achieved.
    Will post today's later tonight.
