Delighted with the first announcement. Really top class performance by the booking team at GFL. Great variety as usual.

Can't wait to get the ticket balance paid on Saturday.

Corker of a lineup... no Bon Iver is the only unfortunate one for me! :(

Well you can't expect all the Frank's, you got Frank Carter though. :pac:

I'm happy with that. Katy Perry is a surprise. No Prophets of Rage though and they self confirmed on twitter months ago.

    - Catfish & The Bottlemen
    - Frightened Rabbit
    - Band of Skulls
    - Jamie Lawson
    - Christine & The Queens
    - Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott
    - James
    - St Paul & The Broken Bones
    - Newton Faulkner
    - White Denim
    - Gary Clark Jr
    - Michael Kiwanuka
    - Half Moon Run

I'm quite surprised the Zombies isn't in that line up, maybe they will be a later addition, have they played at Glastonbury before. They are touring the Odessey and Oracle album so I thought that would be an important landmark album for a festival like Glastonbury like the Beach Boys Pet Sounds or the Beatles Sgt Peppers.

Impressed with the line-up but dreading who will crash with radiohead. I'm assuming it's going to be Justice who are second on my list of must sees.

Ah **** I hope it's not Justice. But the reality is whoever is clashing with Radiohead will lose out every time for me.

There's actaully so much more to come when you think about it. Most of those acts will be pyramid / other stage. Last year we got a drip feed of each areas lineup which I quite liked. Not much DJs or electronic stuff on that at all really and there's bound to be a good few very big names for Silver Hayes, Arcadia, SE corner venues etc. Can't wait for more.

Pretty sure they played in 2015.

Liking that lineup alright. The National? Oh hell yes. One of the best initial lineups. Even from that initial lineup there's plenty to fill the days. Now time to fumigate the auld tent from last year.
Good to see no snobbery on this thread so far about the lineup: Sure, Katy Perry and a few others are not to everyone's taste but that's the best thing about Glasto. Something for everyone.

Wonder when that boycott kanye bellend is going to start his petition.

Katy Perry will be enjoyable enough I reckon. It's incredible to get someone as big as her not even headlining.

Paid the balance for a couple of tickets and have just ordered a big garden trolley to drag the child around the site in. I'm going to need a workout for dragging this contraption around.

Justice are now confirmed for Sunday so the next clash crisis involves them, Katy Perry and The National.

Shouldn't we start getting weekly announcements now for all the different areas like last year? Or is that after the resale?

Has anybody here ever had any luck before in the re sale? Realisticly it's a massive long shot I presume!

Yep, last year. No more of a long shot than the original sale.

I've got my hands on tickets on resale tickers in previous years too.
