Outside Lights

Is it ok to put 8 x 40watt outside lights on one circuit. Cable being used is 3 core NYMJ x 1.5mm. Overall length of run is approx 250 ft. Lights will be wired in "parallel" onto one switch in utility room. Anyones thoughts appreciated?
