Bus service - Maynooth to Dunboyne?

Anyone know if there is any kind of bus service (I know Dublin Bus don't go that route) that services Maynooth to Dunboyne?

No. Train to Clonsilla and back is it.

And waits of up to half an hour in Clonsilla for a connection, which means you spend more time waiting than travelling.
