    Discover Weekly as above, seems to be hit and miss though - some weeks it recommends grear stuff, others I'm left thinking how did it think id like this? :D

    Release Radar is great for new stuff from artists you listen to, and Fresh finds can have the odd gem in it too.

    I'd second discover weekly.

    But also the spotify soundtrack for the comic The Wicked + the divine.

    there's a great mix of old and new artists on it. It helped me get into to some that I never knew where to start with before, like Nick Cave and Savages

    I don't think you need to have read the comic.
